For anybody passing Swarthmore Education Centre, Leeds over the recent months, wondering what is happening.  After the removal of the monarflex roof covering and scaffolding being taken down the new roof is revealed.

Replacement roof timbers, insulation, re-roofing with second hand Welsh slate, lead lined stone gutters.  Re-building chimneystacks.  Lime pointing etc.

We trust all at Swarthmore are as pleased as the staff are at Pickles Bros with the completed roof.

Swarthmore Education Centre – Re-slated using reclaimed Welsh slates, laid onto tanalised laths and permeable under slaters felt.  Re-lined lead stone gutters.
